Jobs and Opportunity
Minnesotans are still hurting from the Great Recession. Our neighboring states have enacted pro-growth policies and forced government to live within its means. The DFL and Governor Dayton however have responded by raising billions in new taxes and growing government at an unprecedented rate. Brian believes a new approach is needed to encourage job creation and opportunity in our district.
Brian’s plan:
- Reduce and streamline state spending by prioritizing infrastructure and public safety and eliminating wasteful government programs
- Lower taxes and eliminate regulations that put our businesses at a disadvantage over neighboring states
- Reduce property taxes to encourage job creators to stay in the area
